How is rosé wine actually made?
Just like in red wine production, the red wine grapes are emptied and mashed in a large open container after reeling (destemming the stem). During the mashing process, the grape juice gradually turns red the berry skin. After about 1-2 Days, when the grape must has taken on the desired light red color, the mash is pressed and placed in a stainless steel tank for further fermentation.
What do you drink rosé for?
Rosé is particularly popular with light dishes such as antipasti, tapas, but also with fish. In contrast to red wine, the rosé should to be drunk cool. Because of its freshness and lightness, it is also very popular as a summer drink.
