Information about the grape variety
The Scheurebe was bred by Georg Scheu in 1916. In this country it is mainly represented in Burgenland (mostly sweet wines) and in Styria.
Scheurebe used to be found in almost every vineyard. However, from the 2000s onwards, it started to decline. We are therefore looked after with the venerable task of seeing this variety again to resurrect old greatness. Our wines definitely speak for it!
